Where to buy pad with restraint for a Amish made wooden highchair?

I recieved a beautiful hand made Amish wooden high chair at my babyshower that I just love, but there is only one problem, it had no restriants or cushion… just a little bar that goes between the legs. I am scared of putting my child in this without any more restraints on it or a cushion. Does anyone know of a place online that I could buy a cushion with restraints on it that I could attach to the back of the highchair. Links would be greatly helpful. Thanks in advance.

Wooden highchairs are fine..they are not a breeding ground for bacteria. You’re not cutting raw meat on it, it’s probably finished and stained and I’m sure you won’t let food sit on it and harden after a meal. I did a search for “custom made highchair pads” and came up with a few links. I’m sure you could also contact a local seamstress to have one made. As far as the safety restraint, I couldn’t find anything specific, but you may be able to have one made from a safety supplier or manufacturer in your area.
