What is the advantage of using a quiver or ammo puch in World of Warcraft?
I saw that as a hunter i can put my arrows or ammunition in my regular bag. But when I equip a quiver, i get more space to put arrows, but i only end up using 10 slots of it, and the rest it goes to waste. But if i pack it with a 20 Slot bag, i get to use only 10, and I still have the other 10 to put anything on it. Therefore why would I need a quiver? does it give me extra stats?
Using a quiver or ammo pouch is an effective way to store ammunition without it getting in the way of your other items. You should try to keep all the slots in the quiver or pouch full when possible, since you never know when you’re going to go a long time without filling it up.
The maximum size of pouch is also larger than the maximum size of regular bag so it lets you carry more ammo without sacrificing space.
They also used to give 15% increased ranged attack speed, but if I recall correctly, this was changed to a passive bonus to hunters, instead of being granted by the ammo bag.
It’s essentially up to personal choice, but at endgame, I much prefer my ammo pouch.
