How do you get a title for a motorized bicycle that you built?
I am in the process of building a motorized bicycle. I want to get a title so it can be registered. Do I have to take it to be inspected? I want it registered as a moped but it has a 58cc engine instead of 50cc. Will anyone know it is 8cc over the limit?
You will have to take it to be registered and inspected, depending on where you are depends on what specifics will be checked. If you wish to register it as a moped they will almost certainly check the engine size, the power output (most mopeds have to be power limited) and the maximum speed.
