Is my growing bruise a cause for alarm?
I got bitten a week or so ago. I do not know how I got bit. It seems that the bite bruise just appeared. I am sure it happened in my apartment… Anyways, the bruise around it seems to be getting larger and larger each day… it started out at a diameter of less than 1 inch. It seems to be about 2 inches wide now with a smaller normal colored circle in the middle. Should I see a doctor?
The bruise should be getting smaller by now, not larger. A brown recluse bite would be becoming necrotic in the center. There are other spider and bug bites that are dangerous. some that are not. But this is not normal so see a doc ASAP.
