i just want to colour the alloy wheel and engine black.. is it possible?
I blacked out my wheels on my Camaro by cleaning them, then sanding them, then using primer spray paint and then just good old black Krylon spray paint. Worked fine and looks way better than the original wheels with all the dings and scratches they had. Took me 2 days because I used several coats but you could bang it out in an hour or two if you didnt care about doing a really good long lasting job.
The engine will require high temp paint, regular spray paint will just burn off as the engine temp gets hot.
