What are the advantages and disadvantages of a blowback airsoft pistol?
Im looking to buy a pistol to accompany my rather lengthy G3 SG1. What is the difference between blowback and non-blowback in airsoft? Which would you recommend?
will a non-blowback pistol still automatically charge another round (as opposed to a spring pistol)? looking for a gun and a couple mags and leg holster for around $100
GBB pros:
More realistic
Semi/full auto capable
Feels better
Looks better
Far more fun
Cons:
Uses more gas
Reduced power due to some gas being used to recock the gun
Less accurate than NBB
NBB pros:
Uses less gas than GBB
More accurate than GBB
More powerful than GBB
Cons:
Not semi auto – most have double action triggers (the first part of the trigger bull cocks the hammer).
Less realistic operation.
Small choice of NBB models as opposed to a large variety of GBB’s.
