What yardage should my bow sight be?
I have a four pin sight and a 50 pound bow what yardage should i sight it in at.
Let’s cut to the chase here. You have a 50lb bow. It’s probably not going to used for long distance shooting. Your best bet- for hunting go with one pin- Zero in dead on at 25 yards- this will put you a little high at 20 and a little low at 30.Simplicity at it’s best.
If you will be target shooting at longer distances use all 4 pins and set them at 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards.If you know a target is, say, 35 yards, then place the target between the 30 and 40 yard pins.Keep things simple and you will have a lot less problems in the long run.
