Is there anyway to repair brake pads? Not replacing them, just new pads on old shoes?
I’ve got a rare old motorcycle with brake pads that no longer exist. I managed to remove the scraps of the old worn pad from the brake shoes and was wondering if it would be possible to somehow just affix new pads onto the old shoes. I mean it has to be doable, how would they get the pads on in the first place? I was wondering if anyone knew more about the idea. Thanks!
Shouldn’t be a problem. Just google “Brake relining” here are a couple initial hits.

If these guys can’t do it, they can probably point you in the right direction.
