You know how ppl carry bags for security reasons. If a man carry a messenger bag?
with no laptops or anything else in it, wouldnt you think he’s carrying that as a security to feel a bit comfortable. I remeber back in the day a book bag did have me feeling safer. I notice kanye west carry back packbags I think that’s also for security. So getting back to that boy he carry a empty messenger bag for securtiy??
I haven’t specifically heard of people carrying bags for security in my time studying psychology, but it isn’t specifically in my realm. However, my personal experience is that I carry my messenger bag because it has stuff in it that I use… I go places with out it, but not frequently. Most of the time I have it with me because I store my book I’m reading, coursework, wallet, keys, phone, gloves, scarf, et cetera in it.
I might carry an empty bag if I think it might get warmer and I want to put my jacket in my bag or if I’m anticipating picking something up that I would put in my bag. As well, people use bags as an accessory… doubtfully a security thing in my mind, but I could be wrong.
