Is it possible to paint the inside of my case black without getting to involved in it?
I just want to paint the inside of it without sanding it down or doing anythign else that might cost money. Its the regular silver color I guess and Gonna paint it black with a 99c can of spray paint. Can I just start it I do I have to prep it some how
You want to insure a good adhesion. Which means a light sanding won’t hurt. You want to make sure that baby is CLEAN on the inside. If that paint flakes it’s flaking right onto your components. Just a light sanding and a quick wash with TSP and then wipe with a clean wet lint free cloth. TSP is a pretty common cleaning agent, so you can probably score some free if you know the right people (especially painters). Some really fine grit paper is the sanding you’d want. You might be able to score a square off someone for that too. If you know someone that does model trains or anything like that they’d be good to ask.
Remember with spray paint LIGHT coats. Just keep doing light coats until it’s covered.
