“Gunners boss vows to attack Roma?”?
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says his side will not sit back on their 1-0 first-leg lead when they travel to Roma for Wednesday’s Champions League game.
Seing as how the first leg went, do you think the second leg will be a peice o cake or just the opposite?
They hold a slight advantage over the Italians thanks to Robin van Persie’s penalty at the Emirates Stadium.
“I believe it is down to achieving a good balance between attack and defence,” said Wenger.
“We always have an offensive attitude, sometimes that’s the best way so you do not come under pressure defensively.”
The Frenchman added: “At the moment we are scoring goals again and it is a good way to be going into such a big game.”
Arsenal had several chances to increase their lead at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg but wasted a number of opportunities.
I do hope it’ll be a piece of cake, wanna see lots of goals, like yesterday (Bayern Munich and Liverpool).
If we start off well and don’t let them get to us we’ll win 3-0, 4-0 on agg.
Eduardo was excellent in the FA Cup game hopefully he’ll play and score. I wanna see Walcott on form too.
