Roaming charges info?
My phone is currently with Rogers Mobile and I’m heading to Seattle tomorrow for a day. Just from British Columbia. I’m wondering if I can bring my phone and leave it turned on without getting charged (for the time). If yes, then what happens if I get an incoming call? I have an HTC Dream, a smartphone btw.
Your smart phone probably accesses the internet all the time. You’ll get charged international roaming for that. Ditto if you receive any calls. I’d leave it home or put it on airplane mode if you want to use apps.
