What’s more important, 14 dams on Columbia River, or salmon?
On the Columbia River between Oregon and Washington State, there are a total of 14 dams that provide power to millions of people. Environmentalists hate these dams because they interfere with the salmon’s migration. Which do you feel is more important? If the dams were eliminated, what realistic replacement power source would be used, and who gets to pay for it?
