what size kastmasters should i use for a conventional fishing reel?
i bouth a 1/4 oz but it wont cast it because its to small and light
Different size conventional reels will handle different casting weights differently. For example, you can not expect a Penn 4/0 sized conventional to cast like a Penn 146 sized reel. They have VERY different casting weights. So, what size conventional reel you got on hand? Better yet, what’s the brand and model? There’s am edit button below you question. Use it to add additional info. No one could answer this question correctly unless you let people know what kind of conventional reel you got on hand.
PS: Conventional reels could be used to cast lures. Most people who cast a saltwater surface iron, used a conventional reel.
