Anyone ever use cotton for filler in blackpowder pistols?
Instead of cornmeal, or excess powder. Loading to the max usually just makes more fouling, since a good portion of the load doesn’t even get a chance to burn. I know many people use corn-meal to fill in any space between the powder and the lead. But what about cotton?
