What reasoning takes place in the younger folks that live & craft controlled by clocks rather than nature?
Do you believe clock time works better when working in a craft than the time of nature?
Do you believe in certain times by clock to fulfill a spell rather than natural time as of a waxing moon?
If you craft or call on powers during the summer do you use “daylight savings time” or the reality time of moon and Sun?
i found out from the rabbi that “mid day” and “mid night” actually moves, this week it’s at 12:40 or so.

i suppose it’s the indoctrination we’ve been put through as society since the industrial revolution and the advent of trains. until the train, there was no fixed time. each town had its clock and they sort of adjusted it according to the sun. the trains needed schedules and so time became uniform, so did life. in factories you had to punch in, do your shift and clear space for the next shift. not like in manufacturing and cottage industry or in the agricultural world where you woke up with the chickens and went to sleep with the sheep.
also time became money. it’s becoming worse, people are so connected to their machines and phones and watches that everything is done by the clock.
i asked a friend “are you hungry” and he looked at the clock and said, it’s only 3. weird huh?
