Is it safe to wear an old cycle helmet?
I have an old helmet (~10yrs old) and plan to get a new one but… in the meantime is it better to wear the old helmet or would it do more harm than good?
Same as a motorcycle helmet. If its always been yours and you know its never been dropped or struck hard, then it should be OK. Although if its a full shell helmet, the coating and paint ‘break down’ after 5 years and really should be replaced.
