What is the true, deep meaning of the song ‘Holy Diver’ by DIO?
I really don’t consider he is referring to heroin according to what I read so far. Can someone who is familiar with this song, please clarify for me?
i think RJD (gawd wrest his sole & his soul) was just in a rhymey mood and wrote the lyrics… you know, he was once a Black Sabbather, and i dunno if he was trying to emulate them, but a lotta his songs were of that type. “oooo! i must make people think with my lyrics. is it satanic or just b.s.?”
kinda like with all his other songs… am i satanic and evil or just a short dude with long hair & rhymey words to say about nothing?
