Tomato Plant and Runner Bean question . . .?

My tomato plants are growing in the veg patch. Last October I dug in some well rotted horse manure. I have noticed the bottom leaves of the tom plants have gone yellow and appear to be dying off. Is this a problem and if so, what’s causing it?
My runner beans have also gone from being a deep green to a much paler green but have not been planted in the same place as the toms.
I have been watering both with stinging nettle fertilizer.

You are growing the same as me. The lower leaves of the tomatoes going yellow is normal, do not worry. You should not fertilize the toms till you see flowers, just plain water till then. The runner beans need plenty of manure, they thrive on it, but if you are in the UK this awful weather is slowing the growth down. Use tomarite to feed the beans.
