How can I change the drag on my fishing rod?
I was told my line kept breaking because my drag was too high but I don’t know how to change it. I have a Zebco 202. Kinda cheap rod but I’m guessing there is still a way to change the drag. I was told there is a ‘star’ shaped thing but the only star i see is the reel itself.
How will you know if you changed the drag? While changing it will the string become looser or what? Any way to tell?
There is a small ribbed knob on the side of the reel. Increase the tension until you line barely comes out with you pulling on it. Hope this helps.
