From past few years Bluetooth technology becomes very useful and common way to connect different peripherals without getting stuck with cables or wires. Connecting with a Desktop Computer or a laptop for both we need to install the drivers first to make the Bluetooth device working. There can be different techniques to install but below can be more easy for you even if you have no experience to do so.
Try this easy method to begin with. Find the driver disc that comes with your Bluetooth device.
* Eject your CD-Rom drive and place the driver disc in it.
* Now in few seconds an automated menu will appear which can show you the title of your device and its model information. In case no menu appear on your screen then you have to manually click My Computer icon and then click on CD-Rom drive icon which will be showing name of your device or its model. Double click it and the automated menu will appear and installation starts or at times driver folder open in which you need to find the setup folder and click the setup.exe file.
* Installation wizard guides you to configure the driver. When the installation finishes you need to restart your computer.
Another smart way to install blue tooth drivers is the Microsoft Windows Updates and downloads. If your windows updates are enable then your blue tooth device can be install or updates automatically no matter you are using windows XP, Vista and windows 7. Incase windows updates are not enable or you want to download or update Bluetooth drivers manually the below method can be useful.
* click on Start button and go to Programs then click on “Windows Update”
* Internet explorer page opens, and takes you to Microsoft website. Now you need to click “Find Updates and wait for results to appear for available updates. Install the updates which indicates critical or high priority if available.
* Now your Bluetooth device should be connected to the laptop or desktop computer.
* Click Start, go to Run and type in command devmgmt.msc and by click on Ok Device Manager window will appear. You can also open it by right click on my computer and click on properties.
* Now click to enlarge Bluetooth Devices and find out your device.
*Finally right click over it and select Update Driver, windows installation wizard will appear. Now choose to install the software automatically and click next. Windows will start updating/installing the driver automatically.
You can also visit the visit the website of your laptop manufacturers where to find the basic or updated drivers for your Bluetooth device, as they have no issue regarding compatibility. Also, there are different tools available over the internet to help you updating Bluetooth device but this could be a long practice. For a quicker way it’s better to book mark the websites which provides you required Bluetooth drivers without any extra software to install.
