Which breeches should I get?
I really want to get a new pair of breeches, because mine are old, starting to wear out, and they’re made of such a dense material, that they get really really hot, and dont breathe at all. I have been looking at the tailored sportsman breeches, but they’re just so dang expensive! plus, there are so many different kinds, that I dont know which one to get. One of my friends told me about Equine Couture breeches and said that they’re pretty much exactly like the tailored sportsmans, just cheaper. I dont really want to get a pair of breeches that wind up being a pile of junk though… Which ones should I get?
I wouldn’t suggest brands such as Kerret or any of the other brands that are mainly spandex based. These are not what judges what now a days. I would suggest i brand called Hoof & Woof. You can find them online. They usually run about a size bigger than regular. They are identical to Tailoreds but are much much cheaper. If you do decide to invest in a pair of Tailoreds, i’d keep them as show breeches only. They are far to expensive to be schooling in everyday. Leave to cheaper breeches for that. Ask your trainer or someone who works at a tack store on which pair they would suggest within a brand so that you know what to get (like how your confused on which pair of Tailoreds.)
