How to hook more fish when top-water fishing?
Just recently started using a floating softbait, and reeling it slowly through the weeds has yielded a LOT of bites, but either the fish miss the bait or don’t stay hooked. Is there something I can do differently to keep more on the line?
Don’t set the hook until the fish takes the bait under and you FEEL the weight of the fish. Then cross his eyes.
