Tour De France-Women Professional Cycling?
How come women do not race in the Tour de France? Are there any professional women cycling teams? Or co-ed? Are there any professional races for women to race in? I am a women and a cycling fanatic, and while discussing the upcoming Tour de France with a friend he asked me how come women do not race in the Tour. Funny, I had never thought of that. I am usually so engrossed with everything else that is going on during the tour that the individual’s athlete’s gender never caught my attention. Any good answer is greatly appreciated.

I didn’t look for links to the womens giro or vuelta, but the races are scheduled.
