How do I set a Cessna 172′s instruments to guide me to a VOR?
Where do I type the VOR code in, how do I set the bug on heading indicator, do I have to press any other buttons to get it to work? I am doing this in FSX but it is basically the same thing. Also where can I find a VOR code that is an airport?
The answer would depend heavily on the actual equipment installed in the aircraft you’re flying.
The codes and frequencies you need of course are available from your charts, which you are by law required to have available in current versions.
