How do I measure the thrust of a rocket statically, using a hanging spring scale?
The rocket needs to be upside down. And pull down the scale.
Fasten a piece of wire vertically, and install some type of guide tube to the rocket to hold its alignment while it pulls. Fasten the rocket to the bottom of the scale with a wire or something else that won’t be burned or damaged by the rocket, and fasten the top of the scale to something solid.
