Headlight not working consistently, wiring or light problem?
My halogen headlamp in my 95 Camaro wasn’t working recently. I went and bought a new lamp, but before installing it, I wanted to make sure mine was out. After tapping on the headlamp, it went on. Now, whenever I turn on my lights, I have to hit the headlamp to turn it on. Is this a wiring problem/loose connection or is it the actual lamp itself?
Just change the bulb, its probably a loose filament. You have to remove the bulb anyway to access the connector on that car anyway, so why not just replace it… Either way, check the connector for burned or spread open terminals
