Flashlight 1000 lumens- A great way to stay on top
The flashlight 1000 lumens can be seen as having your personal car headlight that you can carry with you in your hand. This comes with some warning as car headlights can illuminate with such tremendous power it often blinds cars that are coming towards you. In emergency situations however having a flashlight like this can mean the difference in safeguarding you and your family.
The flashlight 1000 lumens, because of its power, will require more than two regular AA batteries if you want to illuminate longer than a couple of minutes. Most often they come with a cradle of NiMH batteries which should allow constant illumination for about 45 minutes which should be enough to make your way out of a dire situation. In the worst case, these NiMH batteries are rechargeable and can be even recharged with a 12V charger in your car.
The 1000 lumens in the flashlight 1000 lumens measures the quality of how much light is perceived by the human eye. The measurement unit lumen determines how much light is perceived. Lighting equipment now more often states its lumen intensity on the packaging compared to its output power in Watts. In some countries it is even law to state the amount of lumens.
The flashlight 1000 lumens usually come in a solid aluminum or stainless steel casing. This means that these flashlights are unfortunately often large and heavy. This is because the LED bulb inside the flashlight 1000 lumens has to be large enough to emit enough light to get to 1000 lumens or requires more lenses to reflect light to create a wider and more powerful beam. The size and the material of this flashlight (often dubbed as a MagLite) is therefore also a very good weapon. The flashlight 1000 lumens for that reason is actually considered multi-purpose. Security guards do not venture outside without a flashlight 1000 lumens. Not only to illuminate the area to spot for danger but also to wallop an assailant if they are directly threatened.
A proper flashlight 1000 lumens can be obtained for a couple of hundred dollars. This is high compared to a regular flashlight that can be bought at a home department store for around twenty dollars. If you take in consideration the higher amount of power, rechargeable batteries and much more solid design and casing it is understandable. While many people decide against an investment as such and deem it to only be used by professionals remember that if you are living in an area where natural disasters occur often that it is reasonable to be frugal when it concerns safeguarding the life of you and your family!
