What is the smallest size horse i can ride with being about 5’9″ atleast! sometimes upto 6’1″
I find it really difficult to find a riding school locally that has a big enough horse, especially when i weight 14 stone (can loose). I asked my parents about a really local one, i say their horse is big enough but they disagree, what is the smallest size i can ride?
im 5’8 and i have the same problem, any type of horse can carry you as long as they are tall enough I ride a morgan mare(my wonderful show horse) and she is only 14.3 this is the smallest I would go with you also if you feel like you are still to tall for that size go with a 15.1 or taller size horse but dont go with anything smaller then 14.3 because even though some breeds can carry you, you might look strange and not fit with the horse/pony hope this helps
