What happens if a lighting torch kept inside a square box mirror?
If it is sorrounded by mirror and there is no opening for light to escape,what happens?Will the light increase and destroy the mirror.If not,What happens?
When the torch and the light it emitted are confined within the mirror box, light will be reflected back and forth by the mirrors. Part of the light energy will be absorbed each time it is reflected by the mirror in form of heat energy. As light is being continuously emitted from the torch, the mirror box and the torch itself will become warmer after a while.
