Why is there a blueish patch on my lizard’s arm?
I have a long nosed leopard lizard and a week ago I noticed a blue patch on his arm (from shoulder to elbow.) He also shed his skin, but I think that blue patch hasn’t shed.
Hum, try to get a feel around that area if the spot feels different it might be because it didn’t shed there so if that is the case spray the area with warm water a few times a day.
It might also be a new spot, sometimes lizards get random colorings around their bodies when they shed, like some of my leopard geckos, get orange spots after shedding, also sometimes this kind of lizard has blackish-blue spots beside their legs male’s are darker.
Also a possibility of a bruise.
Make sure your lizard is walking normal, eating right, doing everything okay, if your lizard acts strange or it keeps worrying you you should see a reptile vet.
