WHAT ARE SOME GOOD BAITS OR LURES FOR CATCHING REDFISH?
Im going to hilton head island and am looking for some help on catching redfish.
local information will suit you best. however, many larger lures, those looking like oversize bass plugs are used regularly for them.
big heddon super spooks. 6 to 8 inch swimbaits. jigs with a trailer. johnson minnow (spoon).
baits include shrimps, crabs, mullet, pinfish, or pieces of larger baitfish. larger crabs cut in half or quarters.
but, again, your best info will be from some of the several hilton head tackle and bait shops.
