i bet this is a silly question, but when do women usually ovulate?
i have the most crazy and irregular mens. cycle and i’ve never really been sure…but when do women ovulate? and how do i know? are ovulation tests very clear? which are best? i know this is more than one question, but i think im too shy to ask someone in person, thanks in advance!!!
If you count day 1 as the first day you get your period then women usually ovulate anywhere from day 10 to 16 BUT everyone is different. Ovulation predictor kits do not work very well for me, the best way is to look at your cervical fluid or discharge that comes from your vagina.
You may notice it changes during your cycle from dry to sticky to slippery and wet. Slippery wet ‘egg white’ like discharge is the one to look out for, this is your most fertile fluid and will usually happen 5 -2 days before you ovulate. That is when you should have sex if you want to get pregnant.
