what brand of snaps do quality pistol holster makers use?
I have seen the letters yfs and pull the dot on some of the snaps. I am trying to make pistol holsters as a hobby. I have been pretty successfull at the leather working part, but am unhappy with the quality of snaps that tandy leather offers. I would like to find out where i can buy heavy duty snap components and the tools to make them go together well. Some examples of quality snaps used would be on products from Galco, Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen, etc. Again, I am looking for a supplier where I can purchase say a 100 or so snaps, I do not want a $600-1000 gun falling out of a shoulder holster because of a lesser quality snap that looses it effectiveness in a short time.
