Magic the Gathering – How to do the math for multi color decks?
With all of these 5 color decks now a days, how do I do the math for how many of each color I need my lands to be able to produce?
I am trying to make a 5 color deck with almost all multi color cards but some colors are used a lot more than others.
Once I have all my spells ready, what is the math process to break down I need land/BoP that produces X of Red, X of Black, X of Green, etc
If you are building a standard legal 5 color deck, the easiest way to build your mana base is this:
4x Reflecting Pool
6-8 Filter Lands (the ones that add UU,UB or BB for example)
4-6 Pain Lands
4-8 Vivid Lands/Guild Tap lands
