Camping/Touring on a bicycle. Any tips for a novice please.?
I have never been camping before and would like to go on a camping trip to the west of Ireland. I will be taking everything I need on my bicycle. Any advice you could give on what essentials to bring – or even tips on how to pack – would be very much appreciated.
I have already made the mistake of buying a “pop-up” tent, and cannot figure out any way to take it on the back of bike.
I have purchased good front, and rear panniers which should hold a fair amount of stuff.
Advice on good spots to put up a tent (and what to avoid) would also be very useful.
