What happens if I mix PC-6400 ram with PC-4200?
So I have a semi-old pc, that died last week, I want to mix the ram with my new pc, but by new pc currently has pc6400 ram, and my old pc used pc4200 ram, what would happen if i mixed them?
Best case senario your system will run at the slower 4200 speed and become unstable. Worst case it won’t boot at all. Don’t do it.
