id like to catch a northern pike or muskie in the delaware river,around the poconos in pa?
any tips,guidelines,etc..?
I don’t ever recall a northern pike being taken from the Delaware river.
If it’s musky you seek, travel a little further and fish the Susquehanna
from the Falls Bridge upstream to Tunkhannock – a local hotspot is where Tunkhannock creek empties in to the Susquehanna.
Try big Rapalas. jerkbaits, large Mepps spinners. Look for an eddy or backwater and fish it hard.
