Can you install a pistol grip onto a Mossberg 930 SPX?
I know you can purchase a 930 with or without a pistol grip. I currently own one without, and would like to know if I can install one? and if so, Where would I find such a piece?
No, a mossberg 930 is a semi-auto shotgun and the recoil tube and spring extend about 8″ or so behind the receiver into the stock. you might be able to get one of those pistol grip stocks that still have the butt pad but there is no way to just have a pistol grip only. look at page 29 of the owners manual and you will see the part I am talking about http://www.mossbergs.com/manuals/930_935.pdf
