You may want to try out Berkeley Micro Wigglers, Panfish Assassin, or a personal favorite of mine is Leland’s Trout Magnet Kit.
Working plastics in different ways is key. Remember, its not always the color or action of the lure but the fall of the lure will always catch them. Try the plastics with a jig head (i use 1/64oz) or even sometimes with just a small 6 or 8 hook. It’s also a nice trick of mine to follow it up with a float or fly line strike indicator to keep it in front of the fishes faces to give them a little longer to decide to strike if they are biting slow.
