Fishing Poppers/ Walkers?
I am making my own lures now, and I just got them to float/ sink right. I am stumped on a few things though; I am curious to see if anybody has had good luck on specific colors? I know the standard pop-r colors, but I want to change it up! Any skirt color suggestions? Is there hooks that I would benefit from, or just any treble hooks? Eye placement/ selection? Any information would be great. Any structural information, regarding hook eyes, glues, or materials would be sweet too. Please and Thank you.
Well I have alot of luck with one specific one, the storm chug bug, As far as color , I like the chrome/blue with orange belly. As far as hooks, nothing beats a gamagatzu hook( probably missed spelled the name sorry) As far as a skirt , really as long as it has some shine to it , it should be fine in my opinion. Hook placement should of course be 2 with one on the very rear and the other , i think should be about midway, I think better hook set would be done with it there, but opinion again.
