which is a better everyday use knife to have, the cold steel pro lite, or the cold steel recon 1?
I’m going to buy a new everyday use knife, and i really like both of those knives. The pro lite was discontinued for some reason and are now very hard to find, but i have one available to me. They are good strong knives and open easily one handed. The recon 1 knives i like alot also because of their ultra lock, their color, and the overall strength of the knife.
If you have any recomondations please post them.

PS: I am also a little worried that the recon 1 is spring assisted, so something could happen to the spring.
Recon 1, hands down. Much better locking system. Nice handle, overall better looking knife, and a blade shape more suited to everyday use than the Pro Lite, which has more of a big-bellied skinning blade.
Cold Steel makes the best functional knives in the world. I have a Master Hunter and consider it to be the one knife I would not live without.
