Gaited Horse Reins?
I started English lessons at a barn,where there are mostly gaited horses.When we ride we have to keep our reins pretty high in the air,i’ve never seen anything like it before..Is that how they show gaited horses?
Most gaited show horses are ridden that way…keep in mind that I’m not talking about county fairs, but the big gaited horse show circuit.
We do not ride out trail gaited horses quite that way, but we do keep our reins higher than QH people do.
