how much pressure dose hydrogen create when burnt? what is the equation?
i am trying to make a hydrogen powered remote controled car, but i need to know how much hydrogen makes how much pressure or thrust. i would like an equation, but if you give me a link or tell me a figure i will try to make my own equation. thankyou! i verrymuch apreciate the help!
I assume you are burning pure H2 with pure O2 to generate rocket thrust. The specific impulse of this fuel/oxidizer system is 381; that is, if 1 pound of H2 is burned with sufficient O2 in one second, 381 pounds of thrust is obtained. If you are burning with air, this value will be reduced by 80% at least.
