Roller Derby

Roller Derby
i just bought a pair of Roller Derby G900 roller blades, is that good?

I just bought the G900 roller derby in line skates slightly used for $80, they have BEVO ABEC-9 Bearings and a Series Aircraft Aluminum frame. I am an experienced skater but i just wanted to go more low cost. Are these skates a good move or should i go higher quality? Any help would be great Thanks!

They are a cheap skate but better than most of the discount store skates.

The wheel size is reasonable but 80mm is the smallest that I would recommend.
The frame is stamped aluminum, way better than plastic.
It has the taller recreational boot – I prefer a lower fitness boot.
The “no name” brands will generally not be as up to current as skates by the big two brands (K2 and Rollerblade),

They would make a decent beginners skate.

I bought similar skates about a year about for $103 for my girlfriend. They were made by Rollerblade, had 84mm wheels, and a stamped frame. They normally go for more but were on year end closeout to make room for the next year’s model.
