car ac problem leaking at schrader valve?
i have a 96 olds ciera, the freon leaks out after two days, i put dye in it and noticed green dye oozing out of the top of the lower schrader [filling] valve, could this be my problem losing freon. i hope so because its not that expensive. thanks
If you see the dye coming from there, that’s the leak (or at least one of them). It does take a special tool to change them, but you can probably borrow one if you are doing the job yourself. Not real expensive, but why buy one for a one time job?
