example of first grade high scope or montessori activity?
I am a little unclear about the methods once you reach first grade. Does anyone have an activity or very short lesson idea that is either High scope based or montessori based?
In Elementary Montessori, the method begins with the Great Lessons. The children learn about the creation of the universe, time line of life, the coming of humans, language, and math. From there, the ideas come from the students. The Great Lessons leave more questions than answers. Once they learn, they can take their research into a wide variety of areas.
It’s hard to explain the basic lesson plans for materials, such as the grammar or math materials.
I am not familiar enough with high scope lessons to really comment on that.
