Is a Sea Pro 2100CC a sea worthy boat?
I just bought a 2003 center console 21′ Sea Pro SV2100CC boat. The owner said he thinks I can take it out in the ocean. I would like to see if any previous owners has done this with this type of boat. Personal experience? What are your recommendations ? Thanks
i worked at a sea pro dealer for a few years. we rigged most of the sv2100s with yamaha 150 four strokes. it’s a nice well thought out boat ,but it’s primarily a bay boat with not much freeboard. people down here(gulf coast) take them out about 20 miles on a good day. keep a close eye on the weather. i don’t know how well it will do in the open ocean. (we got one to run 63mph with no t-top and 200hpdi)
