full seat or knee patch riding breeches?
I’m not entirely new to the English riding world, but I am starting to get more of an interest in riding English. I was raised in the Western saddle, so I never had a need to wear riding breeches. I bought a few new pair of riding breeches. 2 knee patches and 1 full seat. Currently my fav are my brown and black knee patches. I haven’t yet worn the full seat breeches. Mainly because when I pull them out of the drawer I get this feeling that I wouldn’t like them.
Idk, maybe it’s just me.
I would love to know which breeches yall prefer and why you prefer that type of breeches.

BTW: I am going to be entering the Hunter/Jumper world of English riding.
i definitely prefer knee patch breeches. using the full seat breeches to stay in the saddle aren’t a long term solution to your problem so i dont recommend them. i find full seat breeches uncomfortable and i dont like feeling stuck to my saddle. during jumping courses i’ll often ride in a 2 point or an equitation perch (idk if thats the real name) so i like to have enough freedom to move in my tack easily
