I have been having Panic attacks and my head feels real shakey!!!?

I have been trying to get my medication right for about 4 months now! I have tried about 5 different medications. They all make me feel worse. I can only last about a week because they make my panic last all day and I can not stop shaking. My head feels like I could almost go into convulsions. Has this happened to anyone else? Help I have 4 kids to take care of and I feel like it is taking over my life!!!

There are lots of things you can do for panic attacks, and the 1st thing and most important thing is to learn to do correct breathing.
Take in a long deep breath and purse lips like blowing out a candle and blow long and slow to all air out, then repeat till relaxed a little, sit at table with a pillow in front of you, lie across the pillow with head on arms, arms stretched out like wings, drop your shoulders so all loose and relaxed and then do same breathing , do this till more relaxed.
Once over, get your head up slowly, sit up, a few more slow even breaths, and then relax.
Make yourself some home made or purchased herbal teas,
Chammomile, and ginger, or peppermint and chammomile etc.
Once you have learned to breathe right, you can do this any where ,any time.
Also for emergencies carry a brown or white paper bag with you.
Anytime you panic and you forget to do as I have suggested etc, then take the bag out open and put over your nose and mouth keeping firmly closed around nose and mouth and just breathe normally into the bag, keep doing this untill the episode ceases or till you can swing into action with breathing techniques.
Don’t do big breaths, try and keep fairly normal otherwise will give self a head spin.
I suffered panic attacks for 20 years , and 3 of my 4 married kids did too.
Once I learned how to manage this I went to doctors and also got script for valium 5mg, just to keep my mind at rest when driving etc, where couldn’t do the bag thing, however never used the valium more than 4-5 times in a month, because can do the breathing while driving, cooking , walking, washing, almost anytime etc.
Also learn to relax to nice music you can hum to or just listen to, takes your mind off all, except the breathing etc, and again is relaxing the mind.
Flute or mandolin music, is just wonderful for this.
I now teach these things to many, I work in mental health, and this helps so many, is cost effective and is non addictive, no side effects.
However if it persists, I would suggest just taking very low dose 5mg valium 3 times a day, when feeling the need till you get the hang of this method.
That low dose won,t make you drowsy etc,
Also good diet helps, soups chicken, sucking the meat from between the frame and bones etc, do same with fish.
Works wonders at night, if suffer the same at bedtime, make some fresh soup with chicken, etc, or just cook chicken, and take meat from frame, just on retiring take a piece to bed , and as I say, just suck the meat off , and suck each bone till clean, you will be amazed at how relaxed you will feel.
Try not to speak while eating, or drink while eating.
You fill with air as you eat and speak etc.
Try and make mealtimes ( while eating) quiet time, put nice music or a candle etc, then chat after you have eaten, also give yourself plenty of time, to do your daily chores etc, so not rushing and getting worked up. again maybe set a routine, and have music softly in the back ground.
Its ana mazing thing , just to know all this is in your total control.
Most panic attacks happen when you are rushed, over full after a meal, talking and eating etc.
All these things get out of control, so panic begins.
Set the right tone for all your activities, kids will love it all too, can include them, even going for nice long walks, ( carry the bag all the time for support to mind). but long fresh walks at a very even pace, and just breathe as you go, its wonderful.

Good luck, I have 4 children all married now, and each have 3-4 kids, and 3 do yoga and tai chi, for their extra help, but were literally saved by having the paper bag in purse. and learning the breathing, drinking teas, and listening to flute etc.
Moved on to the reikki, and Tai chi, for more relief all over.
